Instaglow imparts gloss to the coated tablets. The empty pockets which are usually found during packing of uncoated tablet are eliminated, if instaglow is used. It retards powder shedding problem commonly observed with uncoated tablets. By applying INSTAGLOW the tablet surface of uncoated tablet becomes smooth, thereby making a smooth flow from hopper to the feeding channel of the packaging machine, thus avoiding the problem of empty blisters. Pharmaceutical film coating and tablet film coating drastically reduces the packaging/defoiling cost and the cost of active ingredient (if not repacked).
